



Boxer
Boxers are a very loving breed. They are known for their desire for human affection and are great with children. Their patience with young children along with their protective nature make them an ideal family pet. Boxer do not require a lot of daily grooming, however, they need exercise daily.
According to the AKC, an ideal Boxer is a medium-sized, square-built dog of good substance with short back, strong limbs, and short, tight-fitting coat. His well-developed muscles are clean, hard, and appear smooth under taut skin. His movements denote energy. The gait is firm yet elastic, the stride free and ground-covering, the carriage proud. Boxers were developed to serve as working dogs, guard dogs and a companion dog. They have a distinct broad muzzle and an alert expression.
